So after having my feet suspended in stirrups during 6 hours of surgery my legs were cramped and numb for 4 days. Aom, the physiotherapist who came by to hook up electro-pads to my calves and arches for a half-hour every day just invited me out for karaoke once I'm out of the hospital. She said she'd take me to try the best street food in Chonburi and that we can go have a drink by the beach at night.

This is my 6th day in the hospital bed. Today Dr.Suporn took the bandages off and showed me what it looks like. The visuals were a little crude. The swelling will get worse before it gets better, but the sensation is in full effect. Tomorrow I get to walk to the shower, a journey of 20 steps on cold hospital tiles my feet have never been so eager to tread.

This is only the beginning of the journey. There's still lots to be done to ensure proper healing a full functionality; a process that will take about a full year to complete. But as of today, I can safely say that I love my new vagina and the friends it's making.
